An interesting story .. I met up with Les and David from Bill's shop to repair part of this illusion in Chicago. I'm pretty sure they are talking about a vanish similar to the Mascot Moth ... kinda. The six members of the band stood at the front of the stage in a hooded robe .. and simply vanished with the robe dropping to the ground. Bill's shop built these units for the show.
Franz designed the appearance at the top of the show .. this prop was built by Willie Kennedy. I'm pretty sure that is on Willie's site. You could probably build a nice place to live with the flight cases alone .. Steve |

The Pyramid Illusion is not the one on the auction. The apparatus used for the a "Hooded Vanish" was part of the stage. Willie built the other props in the show .. there are also additional photos on his site.

I seen the 4 deceptive steps, that's worth the price right there. but still seems to large for me, set-up alone on this illusion is what? 30 minutes? LOL

The frame work with the deceptive steps on Willies site, are not the props advertised on the Magic Auction. These were used in another segment of the concert. The props being offered on the Auction were built by Bill Smith and apparently there are no photos. All you would basically see is a hooded robe, the secret-stuff were sections of the stage.
The photos on Willie's site are only confusing everyone. Steve |

Sad, but I don't think that anyone could have a practical use for this. Sounds like you'd need an empty warehouse just to store it. I think Steve had it right when he said that you could have a nice place to live with just the ata cases...

I didn't see the show but I did work on the strike here in Phoenix. I think I even helped move these things, if they are what I am thinking of they were very heavy.

Why don't NSYNC just go back on tour and use it. 80,000 less for some one to spend.
