That is the great italian magician Tony Binarelli, the "real" hands of the actor Terence Hill in a western spaghetti movie. Do anyone know the name of the nice triple cut he performs at the conclusion?

Nope, don't know the one he closes with.

Why doesn't anyone ever hire me to do these things?

I always feel like my card flourish work is better than the guys they hire to play the "hands" of gambling characters in the movies. And before you say it, yes, my ego is out of control. (Not exactly the same, but Michael Moshan sp?) would be the exception.)

Lol, this cut comes from Robert Houdin and it's called something like "the maimed cut"...it is near 150 years old

I sure wish the editer hadn't butchered the hand work. It's all broken up, hard to follow. I know why, it's beacuse they wanted to create persistance of vision, and make it hard to pin down what you saw. We do the very same thing, but it sure makes it harder to appreciate what the guy is doing.

Is it my imagination, or are they playing the "waterfall" backwards?

yes, but it is a "comedian" movie...Trinity, the starring Terence Hill, real name is Remo Girotti, makes impossible things all over the movie...i don't think 1n 1972 "electric deck" was still invented:-)

They made 2 movies with Terence Hill and Bud Spencer (fake names of 2 italian actors)

The translation in english would it be:

"They call me Trinity"

"They still call me Trinity"

they are cult movie in Italy/Europe, like yours "Young Frankenstein"

They are cult movies here in America as well. I love those movies and own all of them. You forgot one Terence Hill and Bud Spencer film (though not a "Trinity" film) it's called "Boot Hill".

You may be right about it being the "maimaed cut", I don't know. And Tony Bineralli is a great magician. Maybe Jack Scratch is better, but it's still Tonys hands in the movies, and it's still Tony that gets the "One Man Parade" in Linking Ring magazine. He's in the arena.

I love those movies. As a matter of fact, there is currently a commercial that uses a clip from the movie. The scene right after the card game, where Trinity is accused of cheating. When Trinity slaps the face of the card sharp and draws on him, in super fast motion. It's hilarious.
