Hi all,
I saw this on TV (not a magic series) where the actor asked the his girlfriend to hold a pencil between her both hands. The actor then laid a tissue paper on the middle of the pencil, and when he lifted the tissue paper, a ring has appeared on the pencil, trapped in between his girlfriend's hands!! Hope you can help me on this. Thanks, yujie

It's not "a" trick, there are different methods.
You can find some nice approaches in Michael Weber's or Tamariz' material. |

There are maybe a hundred (or more) sources. It's called "ring on stick". Mark Leveridge has a version on his "Master Routines" DVD (L&L Publishing).
Do a simple google search on the title (ring on stick, ring on pencil).
The artist formally known as Mumblepeas!
