Isn't the BH 'Best' Chain Escape (ala figure 8) deemed better then the Siberian?

Each has advantages and disadvantages. Both are good to have in the repetoire.

What do you view as some of the advantage of the Siberian over the BH Best?

Siberian Chain has muliple configurations. Properly used, they become a powerful tool in showmanship. But sometimes I think the presence of the loops, makes the set-up appear questionable.

A figure-8 configuration doesn't alow you the same latitude in dealing with an audience member, but can be a quick and easy piece of technique.

Each can be done, using much longer chains.

True, on the audience member with the 8.

That's a good point, so treading need be more careful.

I have never really performed any type of escape but I just had to buy one. Looking forward to getting it.
