Balloon Manor was designed by Larry Moss, and I was his assistant designer. We had 60 balloon artists and 240 local volunteers. That tour is from the first year when the project was 10,000 square feet and used 60,000 balloons. Last year we used 100,000 balloons. You can get all of the info at http://balloonmanor.com
As for "The Dancin' Reaper", he was designed and created by Royal Sorrel. And I was the one inside Royal's creation amusing the crowd each night.

Thanks. I credit the costume. There is a lot of freedom that comes with anonymity : )

It reminded me of a walk-around costume I saw while busking. It was an inflatable gingerbread man. It was hilarious, especially the way it moved.
Don, don't sell yourself short. It was the combination of great delivery and dry wit along with a great costume. |

Hi everyone, I just back from Balloon Manor '07 and it definitely was a fantastic experience. I tried to contribute what I could, but picture 60+ top balloon twisters all working day and night and you're got a little idea of what this project was about. A lot of great talent involved and we were on television twice!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LiFHnsCwDmI The bigger you go the more balloons you need to tie together. you need two 350s to make a dog like you would with a 260. 446's you may need 3 to do the same. And the ability to do a half nelson.
