Anyone have any old decks - from the 1800's?
I know regular decks are out there but has anyone seen a gaffed deck from this time period? I have several old decks - my favorite is an Andrew Dougherty deck (Daugherty sold/merged with others to form NY Playing Card Co in the 1890s and then changed name to US Playing Card at the turn of the century) - Cool - not gaffed - just a neat deck

I'm sure Duncan Trillo, the UK's number one manipulation act, has a few. I remember him mentioning them in 2005.

Gaffting had to be step two of printing. It will be interesting to see what your research reveals.
