Hey Guys,
I really think I'm blind. Yesterday a friend did a very simple card trick but I really don't know how he did it Im sure I can learn the trick here but I don't know where to search in this forum. The trick looks like this You take some cards ... I don't know the principle... 2 joker, 4 aces, 3 cards with the same number , 2 queens and so on. You shuffle the cards and someone picks a card, looks at it and puts it back. Than you give the cards to the guy who picked a card and tell him to shuffle the cards... after that, you take the cards and can tell him instantly which card he had chosen before... I hope I could explain it a little bit. My english is not the best And I hope you can tell me what this trick is about and how it works...seems to be so easy. |

It's against the rules to tell you how a trick works here. But there are a million ways to achieve what your friend did. Get yourself a card magic - or general magic book and you will start to have a lifetime of fun. Keep coming here also - although we can't tell you how tricks work - you will learn more about magic here than you would ever believe. And your English is excellent by the way. Destiny |

Im sorry. didn't thougt about the rules while posting...
Is it against the rules to give me a hint? Just one word or something I should look at? It would also help me to know the name or in which Card Magic book I can find the trick if you know it. I guess that's not against the rules. Thank you niX. |

The problem is we do not know if you are a person who is looking because you have an interest in learning magic, or just someone who wants to know for the sake of knowing. I would never give a hint or tell someone how to do an effect as it diminishes my results as a performer.

Well,
I'm intrested in learning magic and I'm already able to do illusions like Stigmata, Disjointed, Saw, Mercury, Sinful, Kaos and some more. And that's why I'm wondering if I'm blind because the trick I tried to describe in this thread is very easy. |

You're not blind - often the simpler the effect - the more decepetive it is. I don't do card tricks but I do know there are countless ways to find a card someone has chosen.
Have a look in the All In The Cards and Street Magic forums. Destiny |

You may want to try Card College Light by Roberto Giobbi. You'll get a lot of great card tricks to learn. Any general magic book should help you though. If you don't find the EXACT trick you'll at least find something similar.
Happy hunting, good luck - have fun. |
