Hey, I went out and busked for the first time last Sunday. Didn't do too well on the hat, but being it was my first time, it is an experience I need to learn from. I purchase a Eureka Table Base this week and I will be turning my briefcase into my new table top. I hope to learn as much as I can as I go on down this new route.
I did linking rings, a vanishing and reappearing silk routine, sponges, and a bill to pepper. When I get my table I will be definately doing my cups and balls! I had a lot of fun as did my audiences.

Congratulations Brian! The hardest part is over. You got out there.

I want to learn from the best, so this busking forum definately points me in the right directions.

Maybe not a natural, I still have a lot of learning to do. I can't wait until I get my Eureka Table Base. I will be able to do a bunch more magic with a table handy. Im going to do what Chris Capehart tips in his lecture notes. Use liquid nail, adhere it to a nice board and a briefcase and that will be my table top. Then I can unscrew the top, put it in the briefcase and I'm on my way if I have to go somewhere.

I finally got my Eureka table base. I immediately made a nice table top for it to try it out. Very sturdy!
Well this weekend looks like a great weekend to get back out on the streets. My schedule has been very hectic lately with going to the gym, wife, work, and house shopping... I hope the weather is good this weekend.

Good work mate. Sometimes the hardest thing with busking is showing up. Once you get out there you always have fun and are glad you did. Espescially if the weather is nice.

The snow is gone and today I got to officially busk for the first time since last fall.
