Marc Oberon will be lecturing for the Parent Assembly on April 24th as part of his debut US lecture tour. He represented Great Britain at FISM in the Close-Up competition and recently won the Close-Up Championship at the British Ring Convention. In addition to his lecture, he will present his act for the crowd's entertainment. He will talk about his thoughts on building a crowd and engaging your audience. Here is a wonderful opportunity to see one of England's top young pros in one of only two lectures he will present in the US.
When: Tuesday, April 24, 2007, 7:45 PM Where: Mt. Sinai Medical Center, 1425 Madison Avenue, at 98th Street, New York, NY Admission policy: Free to S.A.M. Here are some other subjects I think Marc will be talking about: Sleeving, Invisible Thread work, Memorized Deck, Mentalism and Cold Reading.
He is currently the European Close-Up Champion! |

I believe that title is given at the Blackpool Convention.
I also believe that Marc also won 1st place at Ron MacMillan's and at the British IBM conventions. By the way, he gave a fantastic lecture! |

Marc first showed us original coin manipulation sleights. He featured some fairly easy but impactful mentalism routines including Odd Ball. He also showed how to locate cards randomly named by audience members (not a multiple selection)in a deck. Of course, he showed Bang On. He also showed a great Room Service type effect.
