What is wrong with getting paid for what you do?
If you have a real job, and have evenings free charge what you think they will pay. Start at $25USD an hour. and go from there. 10 hour you recoup your investment. Once you gain confidence you may ask for more money. I don't understand the expense of a Hobby ... all hobbies are expensive. Stamp collecting, golf, even paintball. dishing out $250 at any one these hobbies gets you very little. Mark Byrne

You are right about the expenses... maybe it's just my way of trying to convince myself I have to do something more with it then just making it a hobby.
Actually 250$ doesn't kill me as my real job as a programer in a software company does pay up quite well. I know I spent a lOT more then that on magic. And about working and getting paid in the evening, I'd love to, but I in order to work at it I'll have to do all sorts of administrative stuff for opening a small business which are too much of a headace. If I had someone I knew that had a restaurant, I could do it for him and be fine, but just like that it's not that legal. That's why all the fuss I need to get more balloons...
