The Ace of Spades is openly turned face down. Now, one by one, after the packet is twisted, the other three Aces turn face down. When the cards are dealt face up, there are now five cards making a Royal Flush!
Beautiful effect, easy to do and costs $10. I'd highly suggest that everyone go out and buy this (or look up the original text and make one yourself with bicycle cards instead of the crappy hoyle cards you get) |

Hey Nicholas,
Got this a few months back and have to agree with you all the way. An excellent effect that's gets some excellent reactions - wish they were on bikes though. Oh well, off to do some pasteboard splitting. |

As an FYI - Just looked this up and Trost mentions it is based on Mike Gallo's "A Twist on Maxi" which was published in Genii, Aug 1986. Gallo's trick doesn't require any gaffed cards and a slightly different move to achieve the effect.

You should also check out Alan Ackerman's Twisting Maxi Twist from the Session Convention dvd. Like Gallo's its gaff free!
