I think I will make a you tube clip tonight.
I am certain Harry Loraine has a good method. Although no one ever talks about it I would say that Mr. Malone has a wonderful method, but he allows his magic to overshadow it. That's a serious problem I hope he can work on. I have sent him countless e-mails about this very same subject, but he won't respond, pride you know.
Magic is doing improbable things with odd items that, under normal circumstances, would be unnessecary and quite often undesirable.

I like to attach a piece of IT to a TT and then slip it under the sticker. Once the IT rips through, I ditch the TT into my t@p!t. Using the remaining adhesive from the sticker, I'll attach a $h!m on the deck and then vanish the box with either a PK move or with a m@#%*t in (1@ss!( p@1m. I also like to use 100p$ to perform various moves with the box via the remaining adhesive.
Why get rid of the stickiness? It's so much fun! Chad |

I recommend cutting the seal using the edge of the
Joker from the very pack you wish to open... |

1.) Carefully remove the cellophane and keep it for future effects that might utilize it.
2.) Trace my fingernail along the sticker with the half moon cut. 3.) Use X-Acto Knife to slice it open. Done!

I think the OP offered two different questions.
One is how to open the card case in front of audience. Another is to open the case, not in front of audience, but to open the case cleanly. For the former, good answers were posted already. For the latter, I recommend to remove excessed adhesive with scotch tape. Place scotch tape over the adhesive and remove the tape. Repeat it a few times. Hideo Kato |

I use the pealed off seal to remove the excess adhesive.

I begin to drink heavily then rip it open with a pair of false teeth that I kifed from my Granma.
One question..... WHAT THE H$## IS THIS POST ABOUT?
I am truly blessed to have a job where people are laughing all the time and everyone believes in magic....Come to think of it, I'm blessed to even have a job.

If all of these are too complicated or confusing have the spectator open the pack.
Just kidding.

Not sure if this was already posted, but here's a little trick I learned for opening a pack-
slide your thumb in between where the flap and the box are (i.e. the side where you have the sticker), and just slide it all the way across, through the sticker, and voila, you have an opened pack. |

I used an eraser to remove the gunk off after peeling the sticker off. It will smear the gunk initially. Lightly rub it some more and eventually the gunk will disappear. Like magic.
