I remembered another old film with a brilliant chase scene. Anyone here remember one of Roy Scheider's early works, "The 7up's" He ends the chase by smashing his car at high speed into the back of a truck, and hits the floor just in time to avoid being decapitated.

Both are fun if you do it right!

Anything from Equilibrium? Or Hard Boiled opening scene, and hospital. Matrix Lobby scene. Kill Bill, Crazy 88. Desperado has some good ones. Face Off, Travolta vs Cage.

I love the part of the race when his opponent starts whipping Ben instead of his horses.

I'm sorry to do this, but I have to make another correction since I love this movie so much. Charleton Hestons character is not named "Ben" Hur. Ben Hur is the last name, his first name is Judah. Judah Ben Hur.

And Ben is equal to Bin - meaning "son of"

Been a busker since I was 14 from San Diego; Don Driver was my mentor along with many others like Jimmy Talksalot, Sleeveless (Stephen Sloan), Bob Elliott.

For what it's worth, the title of the movie is Bullit, not Bullet.

Not to be confused with the Steve McQueen movie BULLITT, I presume?

Guess I wasted a wish...I was hoping for an opportunity like this after your Beatles/Beetles post! Who knew it would come so soon? Smile

Guess they forgot to tell Bill Buckley.

You've got a pretty good list but I've got the challenge you on best fight. In my opinion, the best fight scene goes to Way(Return) of the Dragon (Bruce Lee vs. Chuck Norris) Of course, this scene took place long before Chuck Norris became the deity that he is now.
