Yes...To Sad !!
A great example of what puts magicians in a bad light.
Guilt will betray you before technique betrays you!

I saw this and I couldn't believe it. I am sure he practiced a couple times and it was a success. He probably had the mind set of "How hard is it to put a duck in a box and the pull the cloth off of a cage?" And that got the better of him.

But the audience still laughed - isn't that the point?
Sadly this is a mirror of most performances |

I don't know why he didn't just chuck the first part of the routine and go on with his next trick "The Appearing Duck", then lift the cloth on the cage to show it empty once more and produce the duck instead of sheepeshly removing the cloth as onlookers laugh. He had the chance to save a little face, but He can't seem to think on his feet when the heat is on!

Oops! I thought he was using a different cage when I posted the above; if he had been THEN he could've saved some it a bit. No wonder I always went with the nightclub vanish! Maybe DC Screwed it up because: one he was doing a version one of DCs tricks to music that DC used in Alcatraz, his 9th special!

I thought it was a joke when the duck came out of the cannon until he removed the cloth off the cage. This is really sad. I feel for the guy.
