Hi Larry,
Well, I guess it's just a 'thing' with me. But, either way is okay! Oh yes, "twee" is...ermm, too-natty...too-tidy...too-just right... Oh yes, Gainsborough...I did a gig there last year! LONG car journey for me! That, I recall... PG |

An old idea that no one ever seems to bring up is from The Secrets of Brother John Hamman. On page 216 is The Faked Deck.
The idea is to stack a few packet tricks on top of a deck and take the cards off as needed. The remaider of the deck could be enough cards to make it look like a regular 52 card deck. This would only apply to tricks that don't have unusual printing on them. I've used this idea in the past and it looks like you're just taking cards out of a regular deck. |

Serge - GREAT idea! I don't do close-up for paying gigs (yet) and was looking for a convenient way to carry around an assortment of tricks in one holder ... just grab and go. I like the idea of a cigarette case ... it's different ... and somehow classy.
Paul - Twee. I'll have to keep that in my back pocket and spring it on someone sometime. You're right ... as long as you're not introducing your packet trick out of an envelope that says "Trick Cards," it's all good. Kevin - I agree. I like pulling my Ultimate Monte cards out of the deck as an added convincer that they're ordinary cards. Larry
