Greetings Chuck,
Let me start by saying that I don't know much about you, but I see in your bio that you have a lot of experience in the corporate field, as well as many other impressive accomplishments. Would you share any advice on obtaining corporate work, magically speaking, and what might spark a corporate client's interest in what you have to offer. Your bio also mentions "Motivational Speaking" as part of what you offer the client. Would you expand a little more on the topics you speak on? How do you obtain the content of your talks? ...and...where does the magic fit it? I know these are broad questions, but any bits of advice I'm sure would be beneficial. Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with us. David Paul

David Paul..There are two kinds of corporate work. As you noted, there is motivational and just performing. When I just perform for a corporation, I try to make it as topical as possible. I might include a routine based on the corporation. I always ask who would the rest of the corporation like to see as a volunteer in my show and most importantly, who would not. Most often the who is suggested as a person not to use is the CEO. I think many CEO's do not want the employees to see them in a different light. If I am called for a motivational show I take a different route. Since most employees of large corporations have seen all the motivational speaking they want, I try to give them the show as well. The show is the selling point. I explain to the booker that since the employees are seeing many speakers who are all speaking about making more money for the company, I am a refereshing change. I am still going to speak about making more money, but I am going to do the show as well. thanks for the question, hope I've helped..chuck
