... and I am curious to see what you guys use for the following situation (which I KNOW all of us encounter this time of year):
You're hired to do strolling magic at a festival/picnic/party. You don't have a table or other "command post" from which to work. Generally, time is also of the essence here; no long-winded effects as we generally catch people on the way from the Tilt-A-Whirl to the lemonade stand. What are your best family-friendly effects? I like to do Professor's Nightmare (or other easily re-setable rope trick) and linking rings; maybe some balloon twisting routines. How 'bout you? |

Coin Thru Ear/Coin from Nose Coin Vanish/Return Sponge Balls Hundy 500 (Just got new bills, as my first set wore out) Cards from Mouth (McBride) Linking Rings Egg Vase Silver Sceptre Card Warp Invisible Deck Blackpool Effect (Sankey) Pyro Perception Those are my most used strolling effects, whether at a festival, picnic, or restaurant. I'm in the midst of making my 3rd or 4th set of Hundy 500, too! Love that trick! (last year, I had two mortgages for about 6 months, so for awhile I wasn't doing that trick! It's just not as effective changing them to fives!)
