Hey guys (and gals),
Does anyone have a review on Re Boxed by Steve Bedwell? It looks like a great effect to do with cards, and it also looks like a great penetration. Its a nice little thing to do after you finish doing your favorite card trick to get the "cards" back in the case by pushing it through. Does this require a deck switch or anything and how practice is it?

heres a link to it.

Many Thanks, Roham

Hi, Roham!

I've had it for years. It's a great trick and pretty easy to do. No, it doesn't use a deck switch--it's much sneakier than that! I think you'll be very happy with your purchase and you'll enjoy performing it.

Thanks for the help scott. One question though...
Im sure that the box is probably gimmicked but are the cards normal so that I can take out the cards from the box, do whatever card effect I want, and than push the cards through it?

Thanks again, Roham

You can hand out the box and the deck at the end.

It is a good trick. It is more of an opener than an after your favorite trick type of trick. Although is is quite easy, I've seen some do it poorly and it looed like they just covered the cards with the box. If you get MD Not Required dvd you can see how good it can or should look.

Plus a whole tape of great routines!
Like Bonnie Raitt said, "I miss Little Feat more than I miss being 8 years old." Thanks for the concerts + recordings, Lowell, Richie, and Paul!

Looks like this is one tape that hasn't been turned into a DVD yet.

I could only find one website that still lists it in stock:

http://www.magic4u.com/shop/Videolist.html

Scroll down to "Bedwell."

Strange -- many of the item links work on that page... and the ones that do bring you to the cart that says "Sorry We are not shipping"

I made the gimick from the info on the video , this is very visual I start my stand up card routine with this effect then I lick it with another effect of the same category that is found on card stunts video by gregory wilson they combine very well to form a sequence of stuning visual magic with card case.

Those who have this in "The Drawer" may want to bring it back out again! This goes so well with Ed Boswell's new effect, "Rapture". Check it out-
you remove the deck of cards from the case and show how they penetrate the box. You then remove the cards again and put the box away. But explain, that even without the box these cards find themselves back inside the case (and do Rapture)!

Mark Mason has re-released "Reboxed" and will be available real soon.

He had it at Magi-fest last week. I think it will launch at Blackpool.

I watched him do it 20 times. Still looks killer after all these years. Gimmick is great quality.

Looks like the Paul Harris Vanishing Deck, only in the hands. Nice idea for a penetration trick.
