No need to "apologize"; everyone here had to do a first show at one time or other!

The important thing is that you did it!

Well! That brought back a few nice memories. My first year doing shows, back in 1981, I was so totally pleased to have done 57 shows! Wow, I thought, there just might be a future in this.

By a couple of years later, I was doing a bit over 200 shows a year on a part-time basis.

I went full-time in 1989 and the show count jumped to about 350 shows and that's where I like to keep it to this day.

I've had busier years in there but, each time, it seemed to be needlessly frantic so I toned down the pace by raising my fees.

Anyway, I guess I've done around 6,000 shows, all for children. Phew! That's a lot of happy kids!

4. Just enought to know that I want to avoid the little darlings!

Anyone who has done 1000's of show for kids deserved a medal of honor!

We love kids' shows, Kids in all shapes, sizes, ages, and colors.

Our last one had an interpreter for Spanish speaking audience members. It was for a Truancy Court housed in a middle school.

Will any of you be at the IBM convention in Kansas City in July of 2003?

I haven't registered but plan on attending as much as I can around summer shows that weekend.
It is July 3-5...
