Some of my favorites are Tommy Wonder's Books of Wonder and the 3 DVD set Visions of Wonder. Not even so much for the effects on the DVD, but the lessons taught by him are amazing, and totally changed the way I thought about magic. I really like Paul Gertner's meterial for close-up. Recently I've been getting into Whit Haydn. His routines are very well thought out, and have a different feel to them. There is a lot to learn there.
Now when it comes to coin magic, I love Roth, Latta, Rubinstein, Gallo, Apollo Robins, Shoot Ogawa, and Brian Platt. Stevie D

> Greg Wilson on the Spot & Vol 1 - 3 of his DVD set 'Gregory Wilson in action'
> Jay Sankey 'Front row Sankey' > Shimshi 'Magic up-Close' > Paul Green 'In the trenches' > David Stone 'The real secrets of magic Vol 1' All the above are excellent DVD's with enough materaial for a life times worth of routines for the working pro. |

I agree, it depends what you are looking for.
Since this is the Table hoppers & party strollers section I would recommend the DVDs by David Williamson, Carl Andrews, Jay Sankey and Dan Fleishman as well as the Live at the Jailhouse Dvd. |

I love the Brainstorm DVD's by John Gustaferro. I use at least 3 effects in the restaurant from his material! Super nice guy!

Doc Easons tapes (any one of them) taught me a lesson. You don't have to do knuckle busting moves and have technical skill to put ona great show. It really is not what you do....but how you do it.
