Is the gimmick worth the price? Because I really don't want to have to spend 100 dollars and then be dissapointed....
What?!

I Think I will buy the art of astonishment books instead, and when I am more experienced buy the levator. Thanx for everthing!

All these questions have been answered on another thread. It was reading the other threads that made me purchase the Elevator. I have no idea at all how this is performed and it will arrive on the 10th. How about doing a balducci first and then go into elevator??? this way you show 360 around yourself.

I am not going to say this gimmick is worth 100 dollars but it is the effect given from this gimmick and how you master it that will be well worth it in the end. And no tor egil the gimmick is very well made and can hold any weight.

I could try this with barefoot without any gimmick and it works.

The only thing I know about it comes from seeing Peter himself doing it on the video demos at the Hocus Pocus website. It looked good in the demo video, though, as Harry said, why whould you want to show the bottom of your feet--unless you needed to rub them because floating just made them sore! There's a presentation idea that works as misdirection by logically justifying a needed move.
By the way, last week after dinner with another couple, I blew a few people away with the Balducci in the parking lot. They asked for a trick and I gave it to them, including staggering and feeling dizy afterward. Even my girlfriend was worried and freaked out. I heard this commual GASP as I "got up." Music to my ears. It pays to pick your moments and then grab the chance when it presents itself. I read that's what Slydini would do. Jim
Oh, my friend we're older but no wiser, for in our hearts the dreams are still the same...
