Hello everyone. Just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Steve and after 11 yrs away from magic (college, traveling and work can keep a person busy for a long time) I am trying to learn again. Cleaning out old stuff and came across some things like Wilson's Complete course in Magic and the first three series of Michael Ammar's ETMCM. Just ordered the complete 9 dvd set from L&L publishing and looking to get back into it. Might have some silly questions but will keep everyone up to date with my progress.
Well, thought I'd say hello and hopefully I can learn and meet magicians through the Café. |

Hi Winston,
Welcome back to the Café, and to magic again! As you know, magic is a LOT of fun and provides tons of enjoyment for those involved in the art. I'm sure, in no time, you'll pick back up on things. The Mark Wilson book is a fantastic place for anyone to begin and the Ammar DVDs will get you back into some great card effects quickly. Best of luck! Mark. |

Welcome back to the amazingly fun world of magic, and to the Café too. There's a lot to catch up and I believe you would do it by leaps. Enjoy!

Might have some silly questions Just remember that the only silly (or stupid) question is the one that doesn't get asked! Welcome back to the world of magic.

Winston, I had a similar reintroduction about two years ago (after having been away for almost 15). Welcome back. The Café is a great place to get plugged back you. You may also want to check out the Go Magic Go podcast (just search for it in Itunes).

I would advise you to purchase a dvd or book on coin magic. Because it seems like you are busy alot. Coins tricks are small enough to take where ever you travel. You can perform them everywhere you travel. That way you will not loose track of magic again.
