Can anyone tell me about the Perfect PENetration?

I'm told that it does not require switching,
but works on a different principle than the Cornelius Perfect Pen. Although
the instructions supplied do not tell you how to hand the pen out for
examination, this can be easily done without having to switch the pen.

Also, could I use it for, for example, Pen Thru Mirror?

I have the Perfect Pen by John Cornelius and I love it. I really don't need any other types of gimmicks for penetration effects.

There is another very good penetration effect by Timothy Wenk called Misled. It is a pencil and bill effect and it was performed by David Copperfield and sells for about $15 dollars.

I can't say much about Penetration but I assume it works on the same principle as most others out there. However some pens are examinable and others are not. I happen to use the "Deluxe" Pen thru dollar. I purchased it at http://www.penguinmagic.com and love it. The best $20.00 I ever spent. I carry it everywhere, looks great, examinable, and powerful magic.

Perfect PENetration is great! and yes you can hand it out straight away without switching!

firstly its great because it looks like a standard cheap black biro, and secondly (without giving too much away) once you take the gimmick away the pen can be handed out to examine which really kills the audience.

also it is very carryable and can be reset easily, and for a tenner you can't really go wrong!!
