The Illusion Theory: magic centers on the impossible effect with the key result being impact or astonishment
The Artistic Theory: magic centers on the meaningfulness or beauty of the performance with the key result being aesthetic appreciation
The Entertainment Theory: magic centers on the presentation with the key result being escape or enjoyment

I believe only the first one is supported by Brad Burt's definition.
