Here are 2 new Solari tricks that I just got...they're similar so I'll review both at the same time.
Where's Jack? by Bob Solari 2007 --------------------------------------- Three cards are fanned and shown face up. The card in the middle is the Jack Of Clubs. The cards on either ends are the red fours. The spectator is asked to remember where the Jack is. The three card fan is now turned face down. The spectator is asked, "Where is the Jack?" The spectator responds with "in the middle". The middle card (Jack) is removed from the fan and placed face down on the table. The performer turns the two cards he is holding face up showing the two red fours. The performer again asks, "Where's Jack?" The spectator points to the face down card on the table. The spectator is asked to turn the Jack face up. In place of the Jack of Clubs is a picture of actor, JACK NICHOLSON!! Great for bartenders and adult parties. No skill. Instant reset. Where's The Queen? by Bob Solari 2007 ----------------------------------------------- Three cards are fanned and shown face up. The card in the middle is the Queen of Hearts. The cards on either ends are the black fours. The spectator is asked to remember where the Queen is. The three card fan is now turned face down. The spectator is asked, "Where is the Queen?" The spectator responds with "in the middle". The middle card (the Queen) is removed from the fan and placed face down on the table. The performer turns the two cards he is holding face up showing the two black fours. The performer again asks, "Where is the Queen?" The spectator points to the face down card on the table. The spectator is asked to turn "the Queen" face up. In place of the Queen of Hearts is a picture of a "drag Queen!!" Great for bartenders and adult parties. No skill. Instant reset. ===== I really like these items...they've got so much "humour potential" and will also leave the spectators surprised about the change! Whether it's the "Jack" or the "Queen", the kicker ending is awesome...especially when they relate logically to the original playing card. Both "Jack Nicholson" and "Drag Queen" cards are nicely printed (fully examinable) and are not simply stickers! The handling is very easy and there's no sleight of hand required. Each of these comes with the required cards along with detailed instructions. You can pick them up for $6 each at http://www.bobsolarimagic.com Very commercial and a "piece of cake" to perform. |

Anytime you can make Nicholson appear out of nowhere, you've got a winner. I don't know how Solari even thought this one up, but I'm glad he did. It's the perfect "light" moment between two heavy effects. I did it for a waitress today, and she laughed her a** off. You can carry this in your wallet, too.

A quick, humorous interlude producing Nicholson. I like this one.

Another nice variation of the same effect is, "Where's the King?" A king of hearts changes to Elvis.

I just received Solari's "Where's the King." Elvis has entered the building!! What a great variation on this same theme...this is a winner.
Drag queens, Jack Nicholson, now Elvis...what more could a magician want. A.J. |

Okay, now my collection is complete with Jack, Queen AND King. Where's The King? is just as clever and funny as the other ones...and now I have some nice options as to what to unleash on people. This one is also $6 but I remember seeing a special deal on Bob's site...3 for $15. Nice deal.
