These DVDs will be great, we know that before they are even out, however, I think it is hard to say it will be the best set. Josh Jay's Talk about Tricks were incredible, so much USEABLE material and just a great all round watch. However, the Benjamin Earl DVD set will be out as well before the year end, and having seen Bens work in person, and knowing some of the material on these DVDs, I would say it will be hard to beat his DVDs!

Maybe a PM or a new thread would be best to ask that question in. This thread is about Malone's new DVDs.

Wow, of course all three volumes sound great. The youtube vid was great.
So great, now I gotta come up with some loose cash soon. Maybe I'll enter a Guitar Hero competition. |

It's going to be difficult to improve from the first set, but the preview looks great!! A lot of Malone's routines are a staple in my parlour act
Unleashing the moment of astonishment, one impromptu situation at a time.

Actually I don't believe anyone has them yet. My understanding is that they ship from the replicator this Thursday or Friday to Murphy's. Thus we should most likely be shipping to dealers early next week. I watched these again last night (I received an advanced copy) and they are really great. As I stated before, I personally preferred them over the first set (which was really superb). Bill is just a riot.
On the coin routine, even if you don't use it how it is taught consider it is THE best way I've ever seen to get into and finish a CSB routine (and I've looked at them all). The Mind Reading Magician (Bill's take on the Chicago Opener) and the sponge ball routine are 2 of my other favorites. These are just loaded with great, usable material. Tim |

PS - The DVDs also have some great discussions by Bill on performing, business, etc. A lot of this insight comes from the book he was working on. The tips, thoughts, etc. are really great and worth studying.

I was dissapointed as well
a lot of the trick require you to have be seated at a table and other's were either long windied or too technical for me that said there is stuff on there for everyone his tips on the business are still worth hearing I got a lot more from his first set though |

I think some of the dispointment some are showing is because of looking for nothing but new effects. Bill even makes a statement about that if your looking for new effects your not going to find them. But if your looking for time tested material you have come to the right place.
I think this set has outdone On the loose. Bill has so much to offer on this set. Color changing deck routine, Cannible cards, Cups and balls. Theres nothing not to like on here. There is something for everyone on all three. As for some of the routines being too long. I did see a couple that were a bit long but those that were Bill said you didn't have to use the whole routine it could be shortened. What's not to like about this set? Something there for everyone. Sounds like a winning situation all the way around. |

I for one am loving the new set.
I LOVE the On The Loose set. But...I don't do any of the effects Bill taught. Now, there were some classics on it that I already performed and I liked Bill's touches and took some of those. Tommy ownder is one of my all time favorite Magicians and his L&L set is one of the best shoots from any company and I don't do any of Tommy's material. I already have 3 effects from Malone's Here I Go Again that I'm learning. That's how strong I think much of the material is. I will only do "gaspers" or jaw droppers. When I add something, that means I drop something. It takes a lot for me to drop something from what I do.
