Nobody does challenge you to pull the napkin away. I've performed this 3 times now and all is going well in the real world with groups. It is kind of an after the thought thing they don't think about. As long as they can get in there and feel that the card is through the glass they don't care about that napkin unless you really bring attention to it as a big part of the trick.

So do you pull the napkin away and let the spectators scratch at the glass..and then pull the card back through, or are you able to leave the card on the glass indefinately?

The napkin part I saw and it don't look good at all. Looks like he is hiding something. He is holds it like his life depended on not letting see it clearly.
I think I will wait on this one. Most of the effects of this nature suck, or you need an partner to help you pull it off. Those he know the secret to other effect like this know what I mean. I am really tired of buying stuff with big build ups and finding a read dog of a trick nobody wants to use.. Another one for my draw, gone and forgotten and money lost again. Now I buy very carefully. However I just purchased one yesterday I thought was new in ideas and found it in one of my beginner magic books. The idea was older then me... Lord help us find a good trick worth paying for. Sorry guys but it's the truth.. |

Don't under estimate the power of this effect! The routine has come a long way since me and dave first seen it.

I agree with the above post.
I bought this expecting a lot and was dissapointed. Too much fiddling around and "trying to hide something". This may work but the explanation is long winded and doesn't really isolate or summarize what is being taught. It would have been nice if after the explanations, a working example of what has been taught was performed at real speed. Not the case here. |
