Hello to everyone! This post is being written on a hot steamy night in Panama, so please forgive my spelling errors. My brain is melting.....
I often enjoy doing a study of a classic effect. Several years ago Daryl published a wonderful book called Ambitous Card Omnibous, others like Jerry Mentzer have published multiple books on a single effect. The Wild Card Kit, The Card to Wallet Book, etc. are other examples. Books like these are an excellent way to gather information quickly on a subject and jumpstart your research on a topic. I am interested in expanding my library to include books such as these, that focus on a single effect,(not a prop, like ropes or silks) and offer a complilation of some of the best routines, moves and ideas associated with a specific effect. Please share your thoughts with me on this. I am interested in your favorite compilation style book or manuscript and why you liked it so much. At this time I am particularly interested in any compilations/collections regarding oil and water (really going back to basics here). Thanks to all of you. Magicbean |

You would be better off asking in the card forum, if Oil and Water is the effect you are interested in.

When his post began with "a hot and steamy night in Panama" I thought I was on the wrong forum altogether!
