I'm not a beginner by any means, but lately I've been wanting to step up my game in terms of card work and sleight of hand (and this seemed the most appropriate forum to post in). I've got books, videos, etc., but have been thinking of looking for someone who teaches one-on-one as I think it would both help my self-discipline but also would help in terms of feedback on bad handlings, etc. Is there anyone who does private card instruction that comes highly recommended?

Try your local clubs and see what they have to offer.

This is my first post here, but I have lurked here for a while. I live in NY, and I'd be interested in meeting up with other magicians in the area to share information and techniques. ect.. PM me if your interested.

Seems like a place like NYC would be rife with magic clubs - right?
