How about "Feelings..."
isn't that notoriously appropriate for any time you want a bad song?

'The Final Countdown' by Europe!
Plus, a few in the audience will get the reference to a now canceled comedy tv show! Sincerely, David

If you are presenting an overly dramatic bad performance complete with self inspired tears I have to agree with Frank..."Feelings" could be awesome! In fact that inspired an act idea for me just now...thanks Frank!

Or also use the most overly used song in magic from Cirque du Soliel Nouvelle Experiance.

Wadini,
Just to get more informations : What do you mean by "bad magic" ? Do you talk about a comedy magic act, where everthing is going wrong ? Do you mean effects using horror articles (i.e. : guillotine, Smash & Stab...) ? Do you think of an act which looks terrible boring where even yourself are bored and anoyed to present the effects ? To find the right music it depends on the effects you present in the routine, the style your looking for, the emotional feeling you would like to transmit to the audience etc... Then there're other questions like : Are you doing the routine with an assistant ? What is the relationship between both of you ?...and so on. So, to give you some more ideas could you give more informations please ? Thanks for helping me to help you. Oliver.

Wadini,
The song "Feelings" was made popular by Morris Albert in 1975. In 1988 after 8 years of battle in legal studies in the U.S.A., a half million of dollars was paid by Morris Albert to Loulou Gasté for plagiary of a song under the name of "Pour toi" (in french "for you") which Loulou Gasté has written for a movie in 1956 , sung by Dario Moreno. Tony Christie has a nice version of the song aswell. Olivier.

My question is what was the year that he came from your bday party? Lots of different songs that have gone down in "bad music" history. What was the year? Thanks Steven |

Ok I am doing my best Dennis Michael's impersination here with my list...hehehhe..Sorry Mr. Michaels, all in fun. These ar songs that came out in the years you stated. These are Blender Magazines "Top Fifty Worse Songs". #15 1995 - The Rembrandts - " I'll Be There for You" #16 1993 - 4 Non Blondes - "What's Up" #29 1995 - Deep Blue Something - "Breakfast At Tiffany's" #31 1993 - Crash Test Dummies - "Mmmmm Mmmmm Mmmmm Mmmmm" #38 1995 - Rednex- "Cotton Eyed Joe" #44 1993 - Meat Loaf - I'll Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That) #47 1996 - Bryan Adams - "The Only Thing That Looks Good On Me Is You" Not really sure if this was what you were looking for but it was fun to look it up. I remember some of those songs...Lol At least that magician did not show up in 1992 or you could have added: #2 1992 - Billy Ray Cyrus - "Achy Breaky Heart" Anyway it was fun to look up somethig. gave me something to do to pass my insomnia time. Good luck in your search. Happy Magic Steven |
