I get good volume when speaking using my STAGEPAS 300, but the volume of the music coming from an IPOD is quite a bit lower (yes, the IPOD is turned up). Wondering if there are suggestions to boost the volume of music from the input device. Or do IPODS just not offer good volume as an input device. Should I be using a discman or other sorts?

Thanks,

john

If you're going straight from the iPod to the audio line, that's not enough amplification. You definitely need some sort of audio boost in there.

John,

Your IPOD has a volume setting in it. Just look around the menu's. It is used to limit the volume.

Also what connector are you using. RCA jacks work best since they seperate the audio channel.

Plugin the IPOD through XLR or 1/4 jacks distorts the sound and lowers the volume.
