Looks like an invisible deck with a fancy painted box.

I thought the video demo was VERY boring. I almost didn't make it all the way through it! I hate this scenario, "Which would you like, red or blue?" "Hmm..blue." "Okay. What's the reason you picked blue?" That is just such a ludicrous question. I would love someone to reply, "Yes, the reason is you asked me to pick a color, red or blue."
Anyway, it seems like ALOT of money for a so-so trick that could even be done without the box. |

I will admit, my first thoughts when I saw this were 'Little too fancy and over the top, for a so-so effect'..i mean, personally when working, I wouldn't want to be carrying around that box from table to table...to perform the one effect. I wonder what peoples thoughts on it were when it was seen at Magiclive... |

You get a cool looking box, and it's very cheap. $60? Hey, come on, isn't that about 15 minutes' work for a magician these days? OK, the presentation was a bit boring, but that's up to the performer to add a little more pizzaz. If you like the effect, it's a steal!
(I agree it's just a variation on the Invisible Deck, though) |

Wow, that looks truly awful, just a dreadful all the way around.

You don't like the pretty box, then?

Actually the box is pretty but the routine is just horrible. I am wondering if someone could take the box and do something interesting with it instead of a really overly complex, indirect and just plain boring version of the Invisible Deck.

Received Box Of Destiny a couple of days ago and I am very pleased with it. The box is very atractive and surprisingly...the routine provided is great. I see a couple of lines that I might edit to fit my style but overall it all looks great. I think it adds a new dimension to a ID routine. For me,I intend to leave this at home and utilize it with house guests.

This is the type of thing I would place on a shelf in my home and wait for someone to comment on. Then I would go into the routine.
However, I don't think I would use that routine. I'm not sure what I would use instead but I doubt that routine would be the one. |
