When I go to log in, it says it's not, even when I change it.

I don't understand your question. You had to be logged in to post this question. All you do to log in is type in your username and then your password. That's all there is to it.

But it will let me do it at the top.

Alex, you only have to log in once. You do that at the top of the page. The only time you have to log in again is if you are trying to load a picture of yourself for your avatar. It will ask for your password and that is only for your security. I still don't understand what problem you are having.
