Ok, I tried finding this on my own, but to no avail!
It's a catchy song that Tom Mullica uses this for his cigarette routine, also, the Max Weinberg 7 plays this on Late Night with Conan, but I can't seem to find the song! Please help me put my mind at ease!!!! http://youtube.com/watch?v=neTBQzMq8d4 |

Contact either Mike Close, a brilliant jazz pianist, or Bencat from the Genii board, who is, if I recall, a major jazz guy. Either one likely could tell you.

I just contacted Michael Close, but he wasn't too sure either! He believed it could be Count Basie, so I'll try to go through a list of his songs. Wish me luck!!

It does have a "Count Basie" feel to it. If you find out, let us know, will you?

Well, I've e-mailed him. Let's see what he has to say.

Are there still independent music stores anywhere? We used to call them "record stores". They had knowledgeable people, like good librarians and used book dealers. Not like the entertainment stores they have now. If they do exist (I buy all my tunes on-line), maybe you could play a bit for one of them.
