Believe it or not, I discovered while studying Esperanto that there actually ARE families that have brought their kids up with Esperanto as their first language. Think how disappointed they are going to be when they start learning how wacked other languages are...

I speak English and try to speak Spanish. I learned it in school but it never really caught on with me. I'm taking Latin this year to improve my English skills. I really admire it when a person can speak many languages.

I'm bad with languages but out of interest pick up the basic words and phrases in any language.
I am feeding up on Gujerat at the moment. I am picking it up from a Sri lankan fellow. Other more unusual ones I know are Arabic and Japanese. I can understand most spanish but can't speak it too well. as with german and italian.

French: Uuuhh, Duuhh, Twaa... that's about it. German: A little bit, I have a lot of German in my blood and understand a little bit. English |

Will you walk into my parlour? said the Spider to the Fly,
Tis the prettiest little parlour that ever you did spy; The way into my parlour is up a winding stair, And I've a many curious things to show when you are there. Oh no, no, said the little Fly, to ask me is in vain, For who goes up your winding stair -can ne'er come down again. |
