I liked it!

The magic, music and mannerisms all fit for a wonderful presentation.

Good routine! Great energy! This was a very upbeat act. It goes to prove that some very, very standard stuff can still be made contemporary, magical, and fun to watch!

His one to four ball production (no gimmick) was right out of Jack Devlin’s lecture tape from the 70’s! This guy has added a ton of show-off exercises and made it work for today’s audiences. His Al Baker diminishing cards was old in the last century but he sure made me take notice! His handling was smooth and unorthodox!

Costume, music, demeanor, stage presence, poise, the guy has it all. Good act, good show, and good audience reaction. He’d do well here in the USA!

Good stuff! Thanks for the link!

What kind of balls he uses? Wooden or rubber? Considering the holder he uses I would vote for wooden ones. I prefer the balls routine. I think it has it all - music, color, idea...

Flawless technique, great stage presence, tremendous creativity (I love his use of the guitar case and timing his act to the flamenco guitar music)--this guy's aces all the way.

Thanks for sharing the link.

Wow!! Well done. I liked it very much.

There are so many people that are so amazing that we've never heard of. Especially overseas. I just hope that during the joint convention, many of them get to share their magic with us- and vice versa. Very great routine!

This guy is obviously brand new to magic
and just bought some billiard balls and a deck of cards
from his local magic shop,
just wait until he gets a few magic club sessions under his belt....

No, seriously, this is a man who loves what he does,
it shows in his work on stage,
and it shows in the countless hours he's spent perfecting his moves!

And, his persona and style are carried out in his music and dress as well!

Bravo, and thanks for finding something of great worth on YouTube.

Magically,
Walt

Thank you guys for your input. I don't know this magician personally but I will try to contact him and to invite him at the Magic Café so he can see some nice opinions about his work. Its always encouraging and inspiring for a working performer.

Nice vid. very able manipulator. My teacher and cardini were able to back palm an entire deck. But whos counting anyway. why roll up the sleves after a ball manipulation to my standard (sorry guys)it's wrong. After the ball passages in the fingers prhaps then roll up the leves.Hope it's point well taken.

P.S. sorry for the spelling.
To add:
He should slow down (a bit) when producing the cards. Not all audience members have a quick mind, unless you performin for the magic fraternity then you have something to brag about.

Hi everybody,

I know Oguz Engin very well. We're friends but lost each other years ago due to the distance seperating us now. He's a smart guy living in Berlin. His act is at least 20 years old and he's not new to the magic scene in Europe. He worked with Dani Lary from France in a Cabaret in Berlin (Germany) in the 90.
I'm not sure but I think he even did his act at the Magic Castle a few years ago.
Unfortunatly he has no web site address.

May all your days be magical.

Soleil,

To answer your question : He uses normal rubber balls that he found in a store for children games.

Oliver.
