Hey Folks. Last October, sword swallowers Alexander Kensington and Charon Henning were special guest performers at The Magic Cabaret here in Chicago. After the show, Alex recorded an interview with me. We chatted about magic and theater -- and especially about bizarre magic. Alex has incorporated this interview into the premiere episode of a show titled Conjurers, Carnies & Collectors, which is now available on his new Web site, The National Podcasting Company:
http://www.nationalpodcastingcompany.com This episode also features an interview with Canadian magician Thom Barnett, recorded at the St. Louis Pirate Festival. (Arrr!) In addition to being a seasoned trouper, Alex has extensive experience in radio, which is evident in his work on this podcast. He does a great job of putting together a fun and informative show. Alex has big plans for The National Podcasting Company, so go to http://www.nationalpodcastingcompany.com and bookmark the site or subscribe to the RSS feed. The first episode of Conjurers, Carnies & Collectors can currently be listened to by clicking on the link for the episode, and the podcast will soon be available to subscribe to in iTunes. I think this is the start of something very cool. Tune in, turn on, geek out. |
