Rmendez, I think one of your early posts a number of years ago drew my attention to the Baffle Bat. So glad it did! I remember how magical and 'baffling" it looked the first time I saw the demo and it's remained one I really enjoy doing....so a very belated thank you! John

You are very welcome, my friend. This will remain a permanent fixture in my repertoire until my end of days.

Which came first? Baffle Bat or Skedaddle Paddle? The skedaddle paddle was chrome with magnetic dots as opposed to the black enamel bat.

The Skedaddle Paddle came first in the 70s but has unfortunately been unavailable for decades.

The following is a list I found on Facebook:

It was originally called the "Skedaddle Paddle" by I.M.P. Magic. When Terry was based in Traverse City Michigan. It was in the middle 1970's. I had my brick and mortar shop in Gaylord Michigan (opened in 1974) and supplied to the shop where Terry worked. I do not remember the name of the shop but remember that it was owned by Cecil Edgecomb. It was above Cunningham's Drug Store. I still have several on the Skedaddle Paddles in my collection.

The Skedaddle Paddle from the 1970s was chrome finished and the predecessor to the Baffle Bat by Terry Lagerould.

I was lucky enough to get one of these but I have one caveat. When I got the package, I saw that it was old stock from Hank Lee. I spent about 15 minutes playing around with it and when I I was done, I noticed that all of my credit cards had disappeared!
