Best $25 spent recently..new windshield wipers for my car.
Traveling to gigs in the ICY Midwest got a bit easier... Also coming another pair of windshield wiper sunglasses..This version with blinking orange lights...My original lighted glasses don't have flashers... Harris

Ebay for the original and also the pair I just "won".
They were popular in the 60's and have been a hit prop for many years. Search disco sunglasses with wipers...google or on ebay I have seen them over the last 5 years from 19 (which I got my first pair..) to 70$ from Germany...) Some are around $25-30 currently on Ebay.. happy props..

Speaking of traveling, I have over 184,000 miles on my mini-van, and the headlight covers were so fogged over that they provided about zilch light. Spent $15.99 on a headlight repair kit from Salvo with wet/dry sandpaper, a polish liquid, and a buffing cloth. Half an hour later my headlights were near crystal clear. Now actually fun driving at night what with being able to see the road again.
And I highly recommend Rain-X too; hardly ever use the wipers in rain. |
