I have one of the 300 copies of the book, Sports and Pastimes.
It was first discovered in the 1960s and has been undergoing restoration for a couple decades. The book is a first edition, and it doesn't look like a reprint may happen. There are two originals and the 300, so 302 copies exist. It's signed by the publisher. It was written about the same time as Scots'. It has the first known written references To the following: 1. The ball and vase 2. The first coin box 3. The first sewn coin hank 4. The first fart powder What is it worth?
...think not that all wisdom is in your school. You may have studied other paths, but, it is important to remember that no matter who you are or where you come from, there is always more to learn.

Call Michael Cannick in NYC. He wrote a book on pricing rare Magic books.

I believe they sold for $60-75 dollars and are still on the shelves of some dealers. They have yet to appreciate in value, and probably won't for the next several years.
