Can someone comment about this effect?
I’m looking to know thick of the rope and quality. With a 3 yards of stiff rope you can create a really nice illusion. I'm thinking to add it to my current Rope Routine (Based on Fiber Optics, False knots and Gags) You can find it at: http://www.kovarimagic.com/Catalogue/Wor......d_9.html Thanks! |

I wonder how he intends to sell it with a description like that. "Comes alive"....what exactly does that mean?

Hi Mind_Magic:
It's been many years since I've seen this in person, but I don't think the rope would be at all compatible with the rope you're using for Fiber Optics. The rope is much thicker, and needs to be that way because of the method. I've seen Kovari do it, and it looks really good. He may have changed his rope since I've last seen him (over 20 years ago), so I could be wrong. I hope this helps you. Ron |

That rope is well over an inch in diameter. In the catalog the sketch on the right is Terry Seabrooke, who gets a lot out of it.

Looks like I will keep using the old well known gimmick for this effect with my current rope routine.
I’m just trying to find a new handling and improved gimmick. Thanks everybody for your feedback. Cheers! |
