global cooling

I don't give a crap anymore about this garbage but those who do might enjoy this and Balducci's researched followup.

I'm going to sit at the table and smell different kinds of paper for enteertainment.

The first post in the comments, by maven81 on 2/26/2008 1:46:37 PM, is enough of a rebuttal for me.

You must be bored, Doug. Maybe you need a new pet. I hear pit bulls are nice...

I only have one comment.
Actually it is a question.
What is "enteertainment"?

LOL.
I was expecting something more in the line of "a new sensation brought on by the excessive smelling of paper." but your response was humorous enough.

Are you doing the double vowel "hoope" thing on purpose? That is just wrong. I object. This tactic is unacceptable.

That on the other hand is completely acceptable.
The question now is how would you pronounce "semi"
Is it se"me" or se"my".
This is the final test.
It is question number 47 in why South Africans sound funny when they speak English. I don't know why there are only 47 questions...?

They certainly do where I live. I think that there are difficult-to-enforce anti-pit bull laws in some jurisdictions.

We have grizzlys too, but nobody keeps them for pets. One family has a house-broken bison, buty that's just crazy if you ask me.

I met my first bison when I was about four in Oklahoma (that is right people who think I'm secretly a Brit, Oklahoma) visiting relatives (mine not the bisons) and I love those critters. I told my wife I wanted to buy ten acres or so and open it up for the wild horses if they want it but also I want to get a couple of those Black Angus cows or cattles or whatever they are called and raise them so they can spend their life out in the plain rather than being dinner.

Amusingly, I did see that bison once, and it was at a promo at a meat packer specializing in bison meat. Struck me as just plain mean to old Bailey ;-)
