I want to put a ring and rope routine in my act (Flip), but I really don't want to buy an entire set of linking rings to do the trick. Does anyone have a fairly large ring that they can part with? Perhaps you don't use all the ones that came with your set or you realized the trick just doesn't work for you. If you have a large solid ring that you can part with, please let me know. Thanks.

You can buy single rings. Ask the dealer for a big ring for any Ring and Rope routine.

But here is my honest opinion about Flip's Ring and Rope routine... It sucks.. It ist not visual at all and I have seen a lot better. Daryl, Wessel, Mekks even Tabary.

The effects are not clear enough and a lot of "hiding" is going on.

Heck... even McBrides routine is a lot better. And I almost cringe saying that. But it is true.

Flips Rope Magic is exellent, but his Ring and Rope really needs impovement. Big Time.

Well in actuality, the routine is BASED off Flips routine with bits of Daryl's put in. I just based the performance of it's on Flip's because it's much more interactive than many others. But yes, I agree there are parts that need improvement.

Heh, I really liked Flip's Ring and Rope Routine. Maybe it was just the final phase that sticks with me.

I use juggling rings because they're more visual and less likely to break when dropped. The "move" requires a bit more misdirection...but it's still easy.

Ring-type frisbees would work too!

Go to Michael's or Hobby Lobby. They have wooden and bamboo rings that are that large. If you use a steel ring, it's going to be very heavy and will probably cost you a bump!

Go to a hardware store that sells fencing.
