Does this dvd come with the Hank? Looks like it would be something I could use.

You get instructions to build your own reel I believe, cheaply.

Yep...instructions on how to make the reel. Curious how this would compare to premade ones, or why would one opt for the DVD over premade ones (like I did ) ?

This is a DVD on how to make a reel, a very powerful reel at that. It covers parts needed and construction but offers little in suggested use (if you viewed the demo you have pretty much seen the application suggestions).I was actually quite impressed at the level of detail that went into this regrading supplies, construction etc.
Maybe I am just old school but I would have prefered that this be put out in print form so that I could reference it from the workbench instead of running back to view the DVD. I don't think that it is fair to compare this reel to a pre-manufactured one. It is not contained in a brass or steel housing so it does look like a homemade device but it does deliver in functionality. It certainly is far more inexpensive than the pre-made devices. With all of that said, I must tell you that I was not disappointed with this purchase. It delivers you step by step instructions on how to build a powerful, battery operated and hand held reel for under $20 in parts. TK P.S. The silk is not included. |

Cool beans! I heard of a new reel system but there is only one video on all of the internets about it that I can find and it's called the TK W reel system by take. Anybody know about this utility?
