Have any of you guys heard of this trick? (where the watch matches the time selected by spectator). I have heard all sorts of things about it. What do you think?

I have heard that when the battery goes dead, you have to take it into a watch repair shop to have it replaced. Is this true? If a guy is fairly handy when it comes to mechanical devices, is it possible to replace the battery yourself?

Yes, it is possible. I have not had to get my battery replaced yet, but the back has come off once. I put it back on myself and that is the reason because there is a notch that must be alligned with the stem so you don't damage it. You could try if you need to, but it would be safer for a jeweler to do it.
