Hi guys,
On a Renaisance Faire I have bought a cast puzzle which is called "The Turkish wedding ring" (I don't know the corresponding name in English for it, its a ring made of 4 rings all linked together which you take apart and have to reassemble again to form one ring), the item was sold without explanation and since I did not practice several times with it, I forgot how to assemble it again (yes, silly me). Maybe someone can recommend me a homepage where to find the explanation? Thanks in advance. |

My mother used to have one of those, but I'm afraid I don't know how to reassemble it. She calls it a harem ring, maybe that could be a little help?

Ahh the turkish puzzle ring!! We used to get these in Turkey for around 5 bucks. It was said that it originated as a device to ensure fidelity because if the husband took it off he wouldnt be able to put it back together.
I think I still have a silver one in my jewelry box. |
