Greetings Spellbinder:
My computer guy is changing that shortly here. The convention has always been a three day convention with a special program the night before for Gold Pass members (people who registered at last one for the next one). The committee voted to do away with the night before program and make the Thursday all day for Gold Pass members only. So the convention is now officially a two day convention for all others who attend, starting on Friday. We limit the number of Gold Pass members as they get an extra dinner, and a full day of programs for signing up a year ahead, it's like the commercial where membership has it's privlidges. The committee makes the decisions as everyone on the committee is registered attendees every year. I have always said when I took this over 7 years ago that it was the attendees convention, and I would do whatever they wanted as long as it would be supported by attendees. Ask anyone who has been to a Funarama and you will hear all praise for the convention. That also brings up something I was getting ready to post: A couple of our Gold Pass members had to cancel this year because of conflicting schedules (IBM/SAM is on the same weekend) So there are a limited number of Gold Passes available filling in their spots. If anyone is interested in a Gold Pass, contact me as soon as possible as they will not sit around long. Sorry for the confusion but the website had the dates posted back in August before the committee met and decided to make their changes. For the value you get, all tghe lectures, workshops, shows, giveaways, and dinner, it is by far a bargain at the price. All the Best Marty |

Let me know when you post the lecture schedule so I can add the names to my Calendar of Magic Lectures.

Your Web Guy is having "fun" with you. You see me updating my site calendars daily, so if he wants to do it, it's an overnight job (probably five minutes at the most) and Google and MSN have nothing to do with it.
