My problem with it was the top of the can, I always "lite-up" to create the illusion, which in return was a tad bit messy for clean-up, and the original method was never ment to suit me. Even though I have not used this effect as much as I wished to over the years, the second I saw this on DVD my jaw dropped! I remember the reactions I received from this illusion and it brought back the greatest memories! To think of bringing this effect back in action and better then ever really has me excited, I really can't wait till it arrives! Can't express how much I love ya Anders for bringing this back, and on DVD, what a man! To bad I'm engaged, I'd ask ya ta PM me!lol! (JK, and yes my fiance's a woman!lol)... Take care! |

I bought this a few weeks ago. What a pleasant surprise!
Not only does the method work very well, and that was a big enough surprise in and of itself. (Based on some past purchases of other DVDs that had “iffy” methods, were too angle-ly or never delivered on their hype.) But in addition, all the extra footage on handling, healing, sealing, presentation, etc, were really of value not just some throw away stuff to fill up the disk. Yes and it was nice not to get a poorly produced video on a DVD-R. The only bad news is now it will be easier for me to be disappointed with a DVD that doesn’t live up to this one.
An idea can turn to dust or magic, depending on the talent that rubs against it.

Here is how to make the work more convincing:
In the nutritional facts look for an "O" or "0" and do the work there.
Thanks,

I had the manuscript for this effect since it came out. While I didn't consider myself an "expert", I still felt there wasn't a lot I hadn't thought of. I am very pleased to be wrong.
Great explanations, great variety, and a well-done and interesting video (a short version of "The Movie" from the Flicking Fingers is what it felt like). Anders Moden does address the daffydoug issue, in a rather surprising place. The hidden easter egg was brilliant, esp. the ending which was a call-back to the beginning of the explanation section. Great job, Anders. I only have to ask why you didn't list yourself in the credits very much. I almost forgot you had anything to do with it while the credits were rolling. Lem |

This is a FANTASTIC DVD!!! Like many of the other posters, I already had the manuscript and had performed the effect before, and this DVD really delivers not just for those learning the effect, but also for those of us who already have the manuscript.
The chapter about hiding in plain sight (don't worry about the hole) was BRILLIANT!!! That was my favorite part- it's total genius and inspiring! Also, the entire video was entertaining, and Anders personable nature makes the DVD quite enjoyable. Lem- easter egg?!?!? Please do tell! How do I access it? |

Thanks to all of you for the nice words. I'm extremely happy that you Lem, and you Nabil for noticing my addressing the issue of the hole (aka the Daffydoug dilemma
(I mean that in a nice way, of course). I'm rather proud of that portion as this is a big stumbling block in the mind of many magicians. Lem: I was thinking of cutting myself out of the credits altogether, but I thought that a slight mention of my efforts could not hurt. (It's all true, btw...) |

Update:
Apart from getting great reviews in all major magic magazines (blushing) I just got word that the DVD got 5 stars at mylovelyassistant.com (wich btw is also a great source for info on magic on the market) And as I work in marketing myself I do not hesitate to give you the link: http://www.mylovelyassistant.com/reviews/view/1829 Note: I have a steak in this and I know the creator. Any purchase you make of this product has a direct implication to my wallet But the reviewer is right, I had a great time doing the DVD - THANKS for letting me do this! |
