I got the infinity thread ( elastic thread), but when it's stretched, it is reflected easily and very visible.
how do you guys deal with that kind of problem? p.s. sorry for my poor English. |

Almost all thread (especially elastic) has a potential to light! You have to learn what lighting enviroments work best and also how to use your body to block light sometimes. It just takes experimentation to learn where you can and cannot use the thread. Hope this helps. Chuck

All IT will reflect light somewhat if not used in proper lighting. There are some environments where you flat out can not use IT. I am not joking when I talk about the extent I go to when using IT. You must test it in the area you plan to use it ahead of time. Or you can test it in an environment that is very similar. After enough testing and practice, you will build a strong understanding of where you can use it and the best method.
As far as lighting goes, Its always best to be between the primary light source and your audience. This makes the IT harder to pick out, and your body produces a shadow, protecting the IT from reflecting light. |

I have found that running a sharpie or black texta over the thread does help the Infinity thread to have a more matt finish to it. Mesika's thread is a much more matted thread and doesn't seem to have this problem as much, but its also not as strong as the Infinity Thread.
