Tommy,
The more I think about this "holding together while shuffling" thing, the more I'm inclined to think Erndase simply made an error. It seems pretty clear that he didn't know much about the game. At one point he makes the comments that most faro games were dealt one the square, when in fact most were completely crooked! Perhaps he knew of the sand tell work but didn't know exactly how it was used? If he had a background in magic he might've thought it would be used in a manner similar to how a magician would use it...to "hold cards together." Of course, sand tell work was actually an application of a card marking system, not a card controlling system. I think I've changed my mind about this Erdnase guy. That makes 9 mistakes in the book now. What a moron. I'm selling my Erdnase collection starting today. Any takers? Jason

Jason, I'll give you $500 for your collection. Just give me your paypal address and say "yes".
By the way, is there any chance that your playing card website will go online again anytime soon? I miss it. Sometimes I get drunk and fantasize about Aristocrats. |

Yeah what a chump. I have heard a lot about Jasons website. what was on it? I am a collector, with about 350 decks (a paltry sum by some standard...). and the KEM thing gives you a small advantage in known what cards were dealt, to a degree.
and I thought there were "only" 6 errors in EATCT?????? anyone care to explain?

KCG5,
It's pretty well established that there are more errors than that in Expert at The Card Table. The jury is out on one or two of them, but I believe there are probably 8 to be sure. If you could the "errors" about faro there could be as many as 10. Jason
